Context: It was early March 2020. symplr had just acquired API Healthcare and brought in a new leadership team, mostly from healthcare credentialing. As the COVID-19 crisis escalated, there was no clear plan for how our workforce operations software could support hospitals. Despite a footprint in 200+ major hospitals, the company lacked direction for crisis response.

Key Actions Taken:

  • Proactively joined a leadership meeting and proposed a response initiative.

  • Coordinated with internal teams and validated challenges with major hospital systems.

  • Led the creation of best practice guides and training materials for internal and customer use.

Impact: symplr’s healthcare division was recognized as a “Top Performer” by KLAS for our COVID-19 response. This recognition strengthened our market leadership and demonstrated our ability to respond strategically during a crisis.
